Why My Roku Wireless Remote Not Connected To Wifi?

If you have lost the Roku wireless remote, or if it is not working, you can use the Roku remote app. It can be downloaded directly from the App Store on iOS devices and Google Play Store on Android devices. If the Roku wireless remote not connected to WiFi, follow the below-mentioned troubleshooting steps.

Roku Wireless Remote Not Connected To Wifi

  • First, check whether you have connected your Roku device to your TV.
  • Take a mobile and use it as a common wireless access point. On another mobile, download and install the Roku remote app.
  • To do so, navigate the Settings window on your mobile and tap the Tethering button.
  • Turn on the Wi-Fi hotspot button and select Setup Wi-Fi Hotspot.
  • Create a wireless network name for your access point and enter a password.
  • The created Wi-Fi credentials should be the same as the wireless credentials used by your Roku TV previously.
  • Save the configured Wi-Fi settings.
  • On the mobile with the Roku app, navigate to Settings and tap the Wi-Fi button.
  • Toggle on the Wi-Fi button and wait for the available wireless networks to be displayed on the screen.
  • From the displayed result, tap the wireless network name you have created on the primary mobile.
  • Enter the correct network name and select the Connect or Pair option to connect to the wireless network.
  • Now, open the Roku app to connect wirelessly to the Roku TV. 
  • Since both the devices are on the same wireless network, you can access the Roku TV with the Roku remote app installed on your mobile.
  • Once paired, change the network settings on your Roku TV.
  • To do so, open Settings on your Roku TV and select Network.
  • Select the Wireless tab and choose the wireless network you wish to connect.
  • Enter the network key using the navigation keys on your remote app.
