Method 1: Fix The Connection Problem

  • First, click the Start menu available at the bottom-left corner of the screen. 
  • Type’ services’ in the search panel and press the Enter key.
  • In the Services window, select Services from the displayed list.
  • Click the Standards tab and give a double-click on the Print Spooler service.
  • Click the Stop button and select OK.
  • In the search box, enter ‘%WINDIR%\system32\spool\printers’ and select ‘%WINDIR%\system32\spool\PRINTERS’ from the displayed list.
  • Next, type ‘services’ in the search box and select the Services option from the list.
  • Click the Standards tab and give a double-click on the Print Spooler service.
  • Click the Start tab and select the Automatic option from the Startup Type drop-down menu.
  • Click the OK button and check if the printer not working windows 10 problem has been resolved.
