Hp Officejet 3835 Won’t Print In Ipad Pro?

This particular OfficeJet printer supports wireless printing options including, AirPrint. AirPrint is a huge advantage as it allows you to easily print a document from an iOS device connected to the same wireless network. Printing from an iPad is very easy as tapping the Share button. The iPad transmits the job to the printer. In case you cannot print from the iPad, here are some troubleshooting methods you can follow to ensure a smooth fix.

Fix 1: Check the wireless connection

Ensure that the HP OfficeJet 3835 printer is connected to the same wireless network as the iPad Pro. If you find out that the printer is not connected to the network, here’s how you can connect the HP printer to the wireless network.

  • Press the Wireless button on the HP printer Control panel.
  • Select the Settings option.
  • Select the Wi-Fi Protected Setup option.
  • Follow the on-screen commands, then press the WPS button on the router.
  • The connection will take some time, and the wireless light will stay solid once the connection is made. 

Fix 2: Reboot iPad

A simple fix is to reboot the iPad to ensure an easy printing process. Since the problem revolves between the printer and the iPad, you can restart the iPad to rule out the problem with the printer.

  • Press and hold your iPad’s Power and Volume Down buttons on the iPad Pro until you see the slider option.
  • Swipe the slider to turn off your iPad.
  • Let the iPad be idle for 30 seconds.
  • Press your iPad’s Power button until you see the screen.
  •  

Now check whether you can print from your iPad.

Fix 3: Reset the printer

  • With your printer turned on, remove the power cord that is connected to the printer and the main power source.
  • Let the printer cool down for a couple of minutes.
  • Later on, connect the power cord to the printer and the main power source.
  • If your HP printer does not turn on automatically, press the Power button and turn it on.
  • The HP OfficeJet 3835 printer will be reset.

Try to reconnect the printer to the wireless network using the WPS method, and you will no longer face the not printing issue on your iPad Pro.
