  • If your HP Deskjet 2622 printer fails to get connected a wireless network, check if the router connection is enabled and that it has high-speed connectivity. If your printer does not connect to the network, reset the printer network settings and get your printer to the Setup mode. After resetting the network settings, connect your printer to Wi-Fi.
  • To set up a network connection on your HP Deskjet 2622 printer, turn on your router and set up a broadband internet connection. HP Printers recommends a broadband internet connection for downloading and updating printer drivers, software, and firmware for using web services. After setting up a high-speed internet connection, protect your network with a network name and password.
  • Press the Wireless and Cancel button five times to reset the network settings. Press the Wireless icon for three to four seconds to enable WPS mode on your printer. Now the printer starts the timer for two minutes. Press the WPS button the router panel to pair your printer and router.
  • Connect your computer to the network and download & install HP Easy Start for your printer that supports your computer’s operating system.
  • Open the HP Easy Start software and accept the End User License Agreement and then click Continue.
  • Now the software starts searching for printers connected to the same network to which the router is connected. When the software prompts you to choose a printer, click on the HP Deskjet 2622 printer. If your printer is not shown, select My Printer is Not Shown. If your printer’s name is shown on the screen, select the printer and click Continue. Select the checkbox near the Enable Auto Wireless Connect option and then click Continue.
  • Wait until the software connects your printer to the same network as your computer. After connecting your printer to the network, the HP Easy software searches for the printer driver and software that supports your printer model. Agree with the Terms and Conditions while installing the driver.
