Unpacking And Setting Up Of Google Nest Audio

The box contains a Google Nest Audio speaker, a quick start guide, and a power adapter.

  • Take out the Google Nest Audio and check the box contents.
  • Plug one end of your power adapter into the Google Nest Audio and the other end into the wall socket.
  • On your mobile, open Google Play Store.
  • Type Google Home and tap the search icon.
  • Tap on the Install button.
  • Once installed, hit the Open button.
  • Your Nest Audio speaker is already active on the Google Home app.
  • Tap on the plus icon and touch Set up device.
  • Touch the Set up new devices in your home option.
  • Choose a Home and tap on it.

Note: You can add as many devices as your wish.

  • Take your phone closer to the Google Nest Audio speaker.
  • Your Nest Audio will be found in the Google Home app.
  • If you hear the sound, tap Yes.
  • On the Help improve Nest Audio page, tap Yes, I’m in.
  • Pick the room where your device is located.
  • Create a name for your Google Nest Audio and click Next.
  • Choose your Wi-Fi connection and enter the password.
  • The Google Nest Audio connects to Wi-Fi.
  • Before setting up Google Assistant, you need to train it to recognize your voice.
  • Click on Google Assistant and change your language to English (United States).
  • Agree to the voice match.
  • Tap on the Default music service page on the Deezer option and touch Next.
  • On the Get started with the voice calls page, click Continue.
  • Your setup is now finished.
  • Select the people and devices.

Troubleshoot Issues During Setup

Perform the below methods if your Google Nest Audio does not appear in the Google Home app or the setup freezes.

Restart your Google Nest Audio

  • Unplug the power adapter from your Google Nest Audio.
  • Wait for 15 seconds and then plug back the power adapter.
  • Start the setup process again.

Restart your Google Home app

  • Close the Google Home app and then open it.
  • Start the setup process.
  • If the problem persists, uninstall and reinstall the Google Home app.
