  • Before you start the setup process, ensure that you have an existing email account. If you do not have one, create it. Follow the guidelines given here to create an account on Google Mail. Open Safari and go to Gmail. Select it and tap Create Account.
  • Furnish the required information like name and contact number. Choose Security Questions and answer them. After setting the changes, select Create and log into it. You will get a mail to confirm the account creation. Once you are done with the process, proceed How to Set Up Email on iPad.
  • Power on your iPad and select the Settings app on the home screen. The Settings app will consist of a gear symbol. Scroll the screen down and search for Passwords & Accounts. Touch it and tap the Add Account button. Select your email provider from the list displayed.

  • Tap Next and select IMAP or POP for the new account. Type the information for the Mail Server and select Next. After setting up the information, select Save to complete the process.
