  • Some of the printer issues like paper feed issue, paper jam, carriage error, print quality issue, color or black ink not printing issue, etc., may be solved by trying out some troubleshooting steps. If the troubleshooting methods do not solve the issue, try resetting your printer from the current settings to default.
  • To reset your HP Officejet Pro 8710 printer, check and ensure the printer is in a working condition. If the printer is not active, wake up your printer from sleep mode. With the printer turned on, unplug the printer power cable from the rear port of the printer. Also, plug the power cable out from the wall outlet. Let the printer be idle for a few minutes.
  • Connect the printer power cord back into the wall outlet or electrical outlet without any stabilizers or adapters. Check if the printer turns on automatically.
