If you are going to install HP Officejet 200 printer HP OfficeJet 200 printer for the first time, follow the below-mentioned steps.

  • You have to unpack the printer and take out the printer supplies first.
  • Next, remove the protective tapes and covers from the printer.
  • Navigate to the printer’s rear side and push the battery cover latch to pull out the battery cover.
  • Remove it and unwrap the battery.
  • Slide the battery into the correct slot and close the cover latch.
  • Connect the printer to an electrical outlet with the help of the power cord.
  • Press the Power button to power up the printer.
  • Select your language and region on the printer’s control panel.
  • Press the OK button after selecting the basic settings.
  • Next, open the printer’s top cover and lift the control panel.
  • Load up to 50-sheets of plain paper into the paper input tray and adjust the paper-width guides.
  • Open the ink access door and wait until the carriage moves to the center.
  • Unpack the ink cartridges and install them into the carriage.
  • Make sure that you have removed the protective tapes from the ink cartridges before loading them into the printer. If not you will face the issue while install HP Officejet 200 printer.
  • Avoid touching the copper-colored parts of the ink cartridges to prevent poor print quality.
  • The color ink cartridge should be installed on the left, and the black ink cartridge should be on the right.
  • Once you have installed the ink cartridges into the printer, the alignment page will be printed automatically.
  • If the printer doesn’t print it automatically, print it manually using the printer’s control panel.
  • Next, install the printer software on your computer using the software CD-ROM that came along with the printer.
  • Alternatively, you can download and run the driver installation from the official HP site.
  • In the driver installation window, agree to the EULA and select your connection type.
  • You can choose either Wired, Wireless, or USB as your connection type.
  • Finish the driver installation with the help of the on-screen prompts.
  • After install HP Officejet 200 printer, verify the printer functionality by printing a test page remotely from the computer to the printer.
