How To Connect The Sprocket Printer?

HP Sprocket is a portable printer suitable for instant mobile printing. You can easily charge the printer and use it when needed. Ten sheets of HP ZINK Sticky-Backed Photo paper and a smartsheet are included in the package. Proceed with the steps that are given below to know how to connect the Sprocket printer.

How To Connect The Sprocket Printer?

  • Make sure that there is sufficient charge on the Sprocket printer.
  • If there is no charge, plug in the micro-USB cable to the printer and connect the other end to a charging adaptor. Then, connect the cable to a power outlet.
  • When the charge is full, the Sprocket LED light will turn green.
  • Now, slide the top cover forward and load a photo paper stack that is compatible with the printer.
  • You can load up to ten HP ZINK Sticky-Backed Photo paper.
  • Place the smartsheet at the bottom of all the other sheets. Then, close the top cover and fix it into place.
  • To connect the Sprocket printer to your mobile device, you have to install the HP Sprocket printer application.
  • You can download the application from the App Store or Google Play Store app.
  • Tap the Power button for about 3 seconds and turn on the Sprocket printer.
  • Open the Settings app from your mobile device and turn on Bluetooth.
  • Launch the Sprocket application on your smartphone and tap the Menu icon.
  • Select Sprocket and wait until the Sprocket printer appears on the list.
  • Choose your printer from the displayed list.
  • Once you have connected the printer to your mobile device, you can print easily from your device.
  • Open the Sprocket application and select the photo that you want to print.
  • You can also directly click a picture using the HP Sprocket application.
  • Tap the Photo to open it. Then, select the Print option.
