Configure a network connection on your router with broadband internet access. Secure your internet with a wireless network name and password. Ensure you have placed your computer and printer within the wireless range of the network router. Be sure not to place any devices that emit radio waves or signals.
Connect your printer to a stable alternating current source and wake up the printer from the inactive mode by pressing the Cancel icon on the printer panel. Once the printer wakes up, leave it idle for a few minutes until it warms up. In the meantime, turn on your computer if it is not active already and connect it to the router network connection.
Press the Cancel and Wireless icon/button on the printer panel and hold for a time of 5 seconds. Then release it to reset the default network settings. Now press the Wireless icon on the printer operator panel. The blue light on the printer panel near the wireless icon starts blinking. The printer starts a timer for about two minutes approximately. Press the WPS button your router before the timer ends.
When the printer is connected to the wireless router’s network, the blinking blue light stops blinking and remains lit. If the wireless light still blinks, check and ensure the printer is in active mode and near the router signal. Try the connection steps again to connect to the network.
