  • Before setting up the Brother QL810W printer, you must have the SSID and password of your router.
  • Next, go to your printer’s control panel and press the Editor light button, so it gets turned off.
  • Open your computer or laptop and establish an active Internet connection.
  • Connect your printer to the same wireless router or access point.
  • Open up your default browser and go to the official Brother installer webpage.
  • If you are a Windows user, your download button will be on the upper part of the webpage, whereas if you are a Mac user, the download button will be present on the lower part of the webpage.
  • Choose accordingly and download the software.
  • After downloading, double-click the downloaded file to start the installation.
  • When the installer window opens, follow the displayed instructions and connect to your computer to the printer using a USB cable temporarily for the wireless setup.
  • After the installation process gets completed, you can disconnect the USB cable, as it is no longer useful.
  • But for easy setup, keep the USB cable connected to your devices till the installation process gets over.
  • Now, a window opens up stating Installer – Check printer selection method.
  • Select the Auto Select option.
  • Now, your computer displays your printer model on the screen.
  • Cross-check the same and click OK.
  • From the Installation Setting Information, verify that Printer Driver and P-touch Editor 5.x options are selected. Then click OK.
  • Read the license agreements and click Agree to begin the download process.
  • Now, the installation progress window opens up and downloads the essential software and tools to your computer.
  • After the downloading process gets completed, the Brother setup wizard opens up. Now, click Next.
  • In the connection type window, choose the Wireless Network Connection type option and click Next.
  • Cross-check that Brother Peer-to-peer Network printer prints directly to the printer over the network option is selected or checked in and click Next.
  • If you have any active or running antivirus software installed on your computer, choose Allow to continue the installation process.
  • A window pops up on your computer screen asking you to confirm whether you have established a connection using a USB cable.
  • Select the option Yes, I have a USB cable to use for installation and click Next.
  • The closest wireless network will be selected by the installation program.
  • Cross-check your Network Name/SSID and select Yes, I want to connect the device to this wireless network. Then click Next.
  • If the window doesn’t show up your network name, select No, I want to connect the device to another wireless network and choose your network from the drop-down menu by clicking on the Next button.
  • Now, you will be prompted to disconnect the USB cable between your computer and the printer.
  • Disconnect the USB cable. You will see the window showing that you have completed the wireless network setup. Click Next to proceed further.
  • Choose your Brother printer from the drop-down list and click Next.
  • Now, your Brother driver installation has been completed successfully.
  • Click Finish and the software manuals will be installed on your computer.
  • During the installation process, a small dialog box will open up. Click OK to register your printer.
